Plumbing assistant position
$500-1000 SIGN-ON BONUS, BASED ON EXPERIENCE
Description
We are currently seeking new team members including Plumbing Assistants and Plumbing Technicians. We are seeking intelligent, forward-thinking, hard-working team players to join our family for a long-term relationship. We will provide all the training, tools, and technology. You bring your wit, drive, intellect, and motivation.
Traditionally the term assistant carries little to no merit and often has no opportunity for advancement. However, at Blue Planet Plumbing most of our technicians started with us as assistants or apprentices and are now running their own service trucks.
We handpick our team and mentor, groom, and prepare our plumbing assistants for a leadership role at our company in the future.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with installation or repair of residential home plumbing systems.
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Full-Time: 40 hours per week
qualifications
- A high school diploma/GED or actively enrolled in one or the other and still be able to work full-time.
- Valid North Carolina driver’s license with a clean driving history that is insurable.
- A strong ability to connect, learn from, be led by, and work with the most diverse group of plumbers and plumbing customer service representatives in the area.
- Must pass a drug screen.
- No less than two years’ experience in the trade with no less than 1 year at any one company.
- The strong desire and drive to be a service technician independently running your own jobs one day.
- The ability to apply yourself in our high performing environment of professionals.
Compensation
- $500 – $1000 sign-on bonus, depending on experience
- $15 – $19 per hour
